Active Participant of Public Life
“Think globally, act locally“, says the golden rule of our times. We take an active part in the life of our society, firstly focusing on what is close to us. UAB “Čilija“ is actively involved in a number of fundraising programmes; it also supports charities, educational and cultural campaigns. We provide funding and always work hard in implementing the projects of infrastructure development, in organising cultural and sports events.
Initiator and Supporter of Charities
UAB “Čilija” takes the initiative for charity projects, especially the ones aimed for children’s and young people’s physical and cultural education. It also enthusiastically supports constructive initiatives of others.
For example, we have supported Children’s Basketball Tournament organised by the Vilnius Police, various AIDS Centre campaigns. We also cooperate with the Sports Club of the Disabled People “Draugystė” (Friendship), take part in a number of other social co-projects.
UAB “Čilija” supports events in a variety of sports fields. The extreme sport day “Čili in Action” is among the most impressive ones.
In 2006, “Čilija” contributed to the initiatives dealing with the problem of young people’s involvement by renovating 24 basketball stands and thus bringing back the sportive spirit to a number of the city’s yards.
The joint campaign “Gėrio kąsnis” (A Bite of Goodness), organised by the chain “Čili pica” in partnership with a TV show “TV pagalba” (TV Help) reached out for the ones in the farthest corners of the country, who most of all lacked in sincere attention and help.
Since 2006 UAB “Čilija” has sponsored the children’s abuse prevention programme, realised by “Vaikų linija” (Children’s Line). Since 2006 support of the “Čilija” has backed the strongest man of the universe, Žydrūnas Savickas, on his path to victories.
Always Siding With One‘s Country and People
UAB “Čilija“ is always ready to side with its city, its country and its community – be it a holiday or a significant event, or when acute daily problems arise.
